HI all,
Here is where to disscuss all aspects of Mediumship, Clairvoyance, Psychic etc..... do you think you are psychic, are you mediumistic...if so, which ones are you?
Are you a medium, Psychic and do readings? have you had a reading? if so what are your experiences, or if not, then you can still share your thoughts on this topic.

Hi Stone rainbow.
Ive never had a reading done before, but its always fasinated me. I've often wondered what it must feel like to be able to pick up voices from beyond. I think it would freak me out a bit if i started hearing voices in my head.
I have watched a few episodes of the programme "most haunted" with that derek akora fella, and sometimes it really amazes me the things he can pick up, even seeing the spirit person he is talking to, and when sometimes they take him over and give him some sort of a fit, it does make me wonder how they dare carry on doing it.
I guess you are born into it though, so you dont really have a choice.

Yes I understand it does sound quite nerve racking the thought of suddenly hearing voices but it really isn't like that at all. Having watched Most Haunted myself a few times I do think that most of that is just 'showmanship' really, although I do believe Derek Acorah is a medium and a good one at that, but I believe it's all overated when it comes to television and that and although I believe that you can channel spirits in the way Derek does as I have expierenced that myself, it's never quite as dramatic as that, that's more trance mediumship. But it really isn't as scary as all that, we often fear the unknown and what we haven't expierenced before. I spent years always having been psychic and sensing spirit and it was only about 4 years ago when I wanted to hear spirit, thinking that I would physically hear voices like when you talk to family and friends, it was only when i started doing one to one readings with people by email that i realised the thoughts in my head just like my own but not making much sense to me, were actually spirit voices I thought that I would hear big booming voices lol but realised that is what they call 'clairaudient' it's thoughts that we hear just like our own thoughts but coming from spirit although you can actually hear spirit voices now and again like speaking on a telephone to people here on the earthplane and it really isn't frightening, just the thought of it really.
I also don't believe we are born into being psychic, I believe we all have this dormant talent (not 'GIFT' as alot of people tend to think) it's only the people that have decided to tap into their psychic ability where people like yourself tend to think that we must have some kind of special gift where you don't. In my opinion, simply not true, although I believe that some people are better at it than others, it all depends on their learning and how they interpret the information being given.
Infact I think I might start off a topic at some point where people like yourself can have ago at giving somebody else a practice reading on the forum. What do you all think?
Ok I'll cut the waffle now, I'm sure you will beable to have a reading done on the forum Tyke if you want one that is, just to see that it really isn't that scary. Contact me if you would like a reading. It's completely up to you.
